About Dr. Patel

Dr. Poonum Patel is a family physician at Complete Care Physicians and a native of Katy, TX. She graduated from James E. Taylor High School before earning her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Baylor University in Waco, TX. During her undergraduate years, she participated in international medical missions, helping to establish clinics in rural villages across Central America.

Experience & Approach

Dr. Patel earned her M.D. from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Fort Smith, AR. She values building relationships with her patients and takes a holistic approach to care, helping individuals develop healthy habits and maintain stability in managing chronic medical conditions.
