Preventive care is one of the best ways to stay healthy, active, and independent. At Complete Care Physicians in Katy, we understand the unique health needs men face and are here to help you take practical steps to stay well, now and in the years ahead. We offer personalized preventive services for men at every stage of life. From routine screenings to lifestyle check-ins, we’re here to help you protect your long-term health and well-being.
Many men delay care until symptoms appear, but regular checkups and screenings can detect issues early, when they’re easier to manage. At Complete Care Physicians, we focus on keeping you informed, tracking your health over time, and helping you reduce your risk for chronic conditions.
We review personal history, family health history, and your lifestyle habits.
We check vital signs, listen to your heart and lungs, and assess overall physical health.
May include blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and prostate health screening.
We briefly screen diet, exercise, sleep, and stress. This helps us identify areas that may benefit from follow-up or ongoing support.
Preventive care works best when you feel comfortable with your physician. Here’s what patients have shared about their visits to Complete Care Physicians.

We live close to 2 hours away and the Doctor saw my daughter for a Physical. I wish we lived closer because this would definitely be her permanent doctor. She was amazing! Loving, nurturing and still very professional.Posted on Devyn (texan101)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my 1st visit here! It was excellent. From the appointment scheduler, the check-in, Marrisa taking my “history” and “The Doctor!! All were very relaxed and personal. Each one showed they cared. Thank you!Posted on Katy ChildsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Patel went above and beyond during my first appointment at the practice. I left her office feeling like my concerns were heard and validated. With my previous experience of feeling like other doctors were just trying to get me out of their office, this was an amazing experience. I have a very complex case and felt like each one of my concerns was handled in the most appropriate way possible. Will be recommending this practice to anyone in need of care!!
A wellness visit is a type of preventive care, but preventive care also includes screenings, and follow-up actions that happen year-round.
No. Preventive visits are focused on screening and routine care to help you stay healthy. Addressing specific health concerns, symptoms, or ongoing issues falls under diagnosis and treatment, which is separate from preventive care.
If you’re experiencing a problem, we’re happy to schedule a dedicated visit to ensure it gets the proper attention.
No. While we screen for mental health concerns as part of your preventive visit, the diagnosis, treatment, or management of mental health conditions is not considered preventive care.
